The Finsbury Distillery was founded in 1740 by Joseph Bishop in London. It is a traditional London dry gin that is still made today according to a recipe that is more than 250 years old. It is based on juniper berries, exotic fruits and herbs. This mixture gives Finsbury Dry Gin a balanced and refined taste. The word gin is derived from the French word for juniper – genièvre – but has been shortened to gin over the years.
